Sahebganj Jr. High School is a New set up(Upper primary) school situated at Sahebganj,Coochbehar .It is a remote village in the district.The school is 1/2 K.M away from the office of the BDO,Dinhata II and 150 metre away from India-Bangladesh Border.The school started in the academic year 2009-2010 with 84 students and three guest teachers.Respected Sir Dwipendra Kishore Bhattacharya was the first TIC of the school.It would run in the morning session in Sahebganj Jr. Basic School from 7 a.m to 10:30 a.m.After that two permanant teaching staff namely Sri Subhas Chandra Barman and Sri Avijit Biswas joined in the school as Assistant Teacher.Since the day I ,Subhas Chandra Barman have been working as the TIC of the school.Then the school was shifted to its building over a plot of land recorded as vest land with the help of the local people in the year 2011.With thank local people who always kept faith upon us sending their children to us.In that year we got Sri Samiran Debnath who joined in the school as a Math Teacher.Next year we got Sri Nirmal Kumar Barman as a Gr. D  staff.In 2014 Smt. Bandana Sarkar joined as a Bio-Science Teacher .In the meantime we got four ACR and Toilets for boys,Girls and Children with special needs.In february ,2020 Sri Avijit Biswas was Transferred to his own District on special ground.As a result we are facing teacher crisis in the school.I am happy to say that every teaching staff in the school works hard for the students.They always try to give their best to the students.This is what helps us to retain the number of students.As a result ,Students from distant places come to our school.I hope ,this attitude of working hard will lead us the the way of success in making perfect citizens of the country.
