History

SAGARDIGHI JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL School was established in the year of 2008. It is affiliated to West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and comes under SITAI CLRC District Coochbehar. Presently here students study from Class V to Class VIII. Besides the regular academic activity the school observes Independance Day, Republic Day, RabindraJayanti, Teachers Day, Vidyasagar Jayanti, Gandhi Jayanti National Youth Day etc. 

They enjoy their MID DAY MEAL every day, which is according to the govt sacntioned menu.

The Kanyasree Club always try to spread the awareness against Child Marriage.

In addition the Little School Library also hepls them to be updated on World updates. They also participate in various inter district Quiz Programmes and Scince Exhibitions.

Medical camps were organised by the Block Health Centre in presence of BMOH and awareness camp on mestrual hygiene organised by CPWD. In addition to this programme, we have also organised Awareness on Child Marriage. In the Nirmal Vidyalaya Sapatha, every students participate and plant trees, which they take care throughout the year.

The students who passed out in Class VIII, gets felicitated by their juniors at the FAREWELL ceremony of the school. However these students always keep attached with this institutions and becomes the strength of the school.
