The school was established in 1919. Approved on 13/03/1919. The school was established and approved during the reign of Kochbihar. The royal staff used to listen to the work of the school. In 1953, the responsibility of supervising the school was transferred to the Government of West Bengal. Since then, the government of West Bengal has been in charge. The school is permanently established on its land in the present location after relocating three times. The century-old school had been running until the fourth grade. This year i.e. in 2020 it has been promoted to the fifth class. Despite being a village school, the number of students in this school is always higher than in other schools.
