History

Talliguri High School is a Higher Secondary School at Barashalbari Grampanchayet of Cooch Behar district.The first Headmaster was Sri Tarani Kanta Mondal.The school was established in 1970. In 1974 it was recognised as a 2-class Jr. High school and some years later in 1991 and 2005,the school was accorded the statuses of 4-class Jr. High school and Madhyamik school and finally in the year 2019 it was upgraded to Higher secondary School. at the Higher Secondary level the school teaches only Arts Stream.
