History

PASCHIM RAMPUR NAWTHOA JR. HIGH school was established in 2008. The school started under the able leadership of the then TIC Mr. Jiten Debnath. Mr Jiten Debnath along with Mr. Ashok Mojumdar (A.T) went on door to door for the enrollment of new student. The school building was not ready at that time. So the school started at adjacent primary School with the help of the local people. Then Joydev Saha joined this institution as an assistant teacher in 2011 .During this period construction of the new school building as per government rules started. Within a year or two the school building was constructed after much labour and effort of the teachers and local people. After inauguration of the school building , the institution is going on as a centre of learning for the whole village.
