Welcome to Our Madrasah

Our esteemed Madrasah is situated in the serene locality of Suktabari ,Cooch Behar District, West Bengal. It was founded in the year 1935, thanks to the generous contributions of local well-wishers.Your Highness The Maharaja Bhup Bahadur of Cooch Behar played a pivotal role in its establishment, facilitating its conversion from an Aided Middle School to a State Institution on 1st April 1947. Further progress was made when the Institution was upgraded by the order of the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education from a Jr. High Madrasah to a High Madrasah, offering education up to Class X, on May 29, 2008.

Over the decades, our Madrasah has grown remarkably. Today, our Madrasah proudly serves a roll strength of more than 1200 students from Class I to Class X. The Institution continues it’s journey to promote the Islamic Education and Culture with Modern Academic Knowledge including the subjects of Mathematics, Physical Science, Biology, Social Science, Bengali, English, Arabic, Islamic Studies, Computer etc. Our vision is to produce well-rounded individuals who will contribute positively to society.

Our Institution works under the instructions of the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education including DI of Schools (SE), Cooch Behar and the SI of the Schools (Satmile Circle, Cooch Behar). The Institution is managed by an Administrator appointed by the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education, and there is no Managing Committee as there are no rules requiring the formation of such a committee for classes I to X High Madrasah.
