History

Literally our school RAMKRISHNA BALIKA BIDYALAYA started its journey since 1st April 1959. But our school took up long time further to ensure its stepping stoneto success. Initially, having no proper land as well as schoolbuilding of its own, the school activities were decided to be carried on in the morning shift at the adjacent school, SRI RAMKRISHNA BOYS HIGH SCHOOL. Due to lack of proper infrastructure, our school set in its journey with only two classes of V & VI.Right then the adhock committee was formed to look into the basic problems of the school. The committee renedred their cordial help to get the land of the school and the school building as well.In 1960 our school was promoted to the status of a middle school. Again in 1965 our school was endowed with the status of a secondary school. The school retained this status over a long period of time and evevtually in 2002 our school came up to the present status of a Higher Secondary School.
