Madan Mohan colony R R pry school is one of the oldest school in this area. It was established in 1951.Before 1951 there was no primary school in this village. Most of the villagers were very poor. They realized the importance of education and decided to setup a school. At first the village committee started a school at the yard of Gopal Chanda's house.Then they bought a new land in the name of Durga nath Bhadra and donated for the school building.In 1964 the first parmanent school building was built where the school situated now. Rajendra Chandra Nag was the first Head teacher of this institution. Now it is managed by the Department of school education.Many students have come out from this institution and now they are working successfully in the various fields in their life.
