Sebabhaban School was established on 25th January, 1968 by a renowned social worker Late Anil Kumar Sengupta. The mission of this institution was to provide quality education to the children of Chhat Guriahati village and the residents of “Nirashray Nari o Shishu Sevabhaban”. The School got  Government affiliation in January, 1969 and became a Government Sponsored Junior High school. In the year 2000 the School became a Secondary School under The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and in the year 2015 the School got recognition as a Higher Secondary School from The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. It is the one and only Co-educational School in the Chhat Guriahati area with a well deserved reputation for delivering quality education for over 50 years.
