History

DHANGDHING GURI JUNIOR BASIC SCHOOL was established in the year 1950 and it is managed by the Department of Education . It is located in a rural area named Dhangding guri of Pundibari  Circle in COOCH BEHAR-II block of Coochbehar district of West Bengal. The school consists of Grades from Pre Primary to V. The school is Co-educational . Bengali is the medium of instructions in this school. All the classrooms are in good condition. The source of Drinking Water in the school is Tube well and it is functional. The school has a big playground. In all academic days the school provides mid-day meal to all the students  from Monday to Saturday . All the teachers of the school always take the highest care of the students .  In the local area this school is considered as one of the best schools for the students to inaugurate their career in study .
