History

The school was established in 1980. At that time most of the people in the area lived below the poverty line. Being an indigenous area, they could not send their children to remote primary schools. It is pertinent to note that there was no primary school within a few kilometres of the vicinity. After long discussions and reviews, the school was built with the efforts and administrative efforts of the locals. In the beginning there was a lack of adequate teachers and lack of awareness of the parents, but now due to the dedicated efforts of adequate and well-trained teachers, almost every child of this school has become proficient in education. Now children are taught here with utmost care.
