Nagar Dakaliganj High School is an ancient & eminent educational institution in Sitalkuchi Block under Coochbehar District, West Bengal.It is only 1.5 K.M. away from Shibpu Chowpathi, a bus stop on Mathabhanga- Sitalkuchi Pucca Road. The local people interested in education came forward to set up this school in the year 1957.Some of them came forward to donate land and money for organisation of school.Initially local educated persons imparted education voluntarily. The school got first recognition as a 4 class Jr. High School in 1964. Later on the school was upgraded as High School in the year 1966. The School has been upgraded as Higher Secondary from the session 2005-06.(Vide Council's Memo No.D.S.(A)S.D./244/Recog/05. Date:27.09.2005.The school has got affiliation fro the West Bengal State Council Of Vocational Education & Training for imparting teachin on Agriculture trade at the X+II level in the year 2006. Science Stream was introduced at the H.S. Section during 2008-09 Session(Vide Memo No. D.S.(A)SD/975/08. Dt.23.05.2008. The school owns 06 Acre of land and the total area was well protected with boundary wall. The school compound is decorated with various types of trees and plants. There is a big play ground beside school which provides ample opportunity to the students for participation in different types of games and sports. With effort of all the school has become an ideal place of learning. The Best Cluster School Award, Nirmal Vidyalaya Purashkar, And Shishu Mitra Purashkar are the notable achievements of the school.
