History

Chhotosalbari Jamiruddin High School(HS) was established as 4-Class Jr. High School with permission to open classes V to VI w.e.f 01.01.1986 and Classes VII to VIII w.e.f 01.01.1987 vide memo no. S/300 dt- 25.02.1987 of the WBBSE for a period upto 31.12.1988.

Recognition extended upto 30.04.1991 vide memo no.- 3530/G dt-24.02.1989 by the Board.

Come under Grant-in-Aid Scheme w.e.f the date of recognition vide Gov. order No.2684-Edu(S) dt-21.12.1978/197-Edu(S) dt-14.03.1980.

Upgraded to Class-X High School w.e.f 01.05.1998 with permission to enjoy co-education vide Board’s memo no.-S/Recog/98/96 dt-30.10.1998.

Upgraded to Higher Secondary School w.e.f 14.08.2013 vide  memo no.-DS(Aca)SD/0299/Recog/2013 dt-14.08.2013
