History

গলেনওহাটি ১ নং জিপি স্কুলটি তৈরি হয় ১৯৬৮ সালে।স্কুলটি ভারত বাংলাদেশ সীমান্ত ঘেঁষে অবস্থিত। অর্থনৈতিক ভাবে কৃষিকে ভিত্ত করে বেঁচে থাকা এই অঞ্চলের মানুষের মধ্যে শিক্ষার আলো জ্বালিয়ে আসছে গোলেনওহ হাঁটি ১নং জিপি স্কুল। ছাত্রছাত্রীদের মধ্যে  জানার আগ্রহের কখনো ভাটা পড়েনি। ছয় দশক আগে যে   চারা গাছটি রোপণ করা হয় আজ সেটি বিশাল বট বৃক্ষে পরিণত হয়েছ। বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়ে সফল ছাত্র ছাত্রীরা এই স্কুলটির গৌরব অনবরত বৃদ্ধি করে আসছে।

Galenwahati No. 1 GP School was established in 1968. The school is located very close to the Indo-Bangladesh border, Sitalkuchi, Coochbehar.  Golenowhati No. 1 GP School is shining  light of education among the people of this region who are economically dependent on agriculture.  The curiosity among the students never waned.  The sapling that was planted six decades ago has turned into a huge bot tree today.  The pride of this school has been continuously increased by the successful students who have been established in various fields.
