Dhandhania East Primary School located at village- Dhandhania, P.O.- Baro Gopalpur, P.S.- Mathabhanga, District- Coochbehar under mathabhanga 3 circle had been established in the year 2000. The school  was situated within 54 decimal land donated by five brothers named Hafijar Rahaman, Hamidul Islam, Abdur Rahaman, Abdul Karim, Abdul Matleb. The school was started with one teacher named Dhananjay Barman with the designation of Head Teacher .Bengali is the the medium of instruction for this school .Classes from Pre-Primary to IV run in this school . The library in this school has more than 300 books. The School has given exceptional results in the the academic year and its students have excelled in extra co-curriculur activities too. 100% from this school qualified the examination.
