History

Situated at Haldibari, the block town in the west bank of river Teesta, Haldibari Girls' High School has been catering sincerely to the  dreams and educational aspirations of the girls since 1951, the foundation year of the school.This academic institution started it educational venture when some local enthusiasts collect donations and set up the only one girls school in the block, under the direct influence of the rich historical and cultural heritage of the locality alike its headquarter Cooch Behar.The school got secondary level recognition in 1958 and higher secondary level recognition in arts stream in 1985,respectively. The school has been also recognised to offer H.S science faculty from last two academic years.The school holds in high esteem the true purpose and object of education that aims to give an all round development to the pupils.
