History

Puratan gangarampur High School is a Co-educational Rural High School located in Puratan Gangarampur in the Historic District Dakshin Dinajpur ,5/6 km from the subdivisional Town Gangarampur.  The School was originally built by few Local  Educationist and Social worker in the year 1972 . But the  Govt.recognnised the school and  Granted this Institution  in the year 1984. The School was Upgraded to Secondary  School in the Year 2000. Huge numbers of students has passed out from this institution and lots of them are now well established by their proffession like Police,Teacher, Doctor,advocate,businessman.
