History

Kushkari Khairon Bibi Basiruddin Sarkar(KBBS) High School (H.S) is established in the year 1961 with active Co- oparation of the people of thhe surrouding area. The land of the School was mainly donated by Taslimuddin Ahmed, A renowned person of Muradpur as the name of the school was proposed as Khairon Bibi ,The mother of Taslimuddin Ahmed.The other doner was Basruddin Sarkar , the brother of Ex-Secretary of school , Kalimuddin Ahmed who donated money for the school.Hence the name of school was Settled as Kushkari Khairon Bibi - Basiruddin Sarkar (KBBS) High School.The other interested persons who were actively involvedin making the school were -Amiruddin Ahmed, Kasimuddin Ahmed, Dhananjoy Kr. Das, Ratikanta Das,Jamiruddin Ahmed and many more.Previously it was at Bilaikuri,in middle of Kushkari and Kalyani.But in the year 1974 it was sifted to Kushkari.

The school started its leapfrom january 1962 as a 2-class Jr. High school and in the year 1966 it was upgraded to 4-class Jr. High School(upto Class 8). In the year 1972 it got recognation as 10 class school. It also got recognation as a Higher Secondary Institution in the year 2004.It has also Vocational Courses of 8+ & 10+ class since 2006.
