The development of human civilization first took place around the river. In this case , Sihole is no exception. It is known from various antiquities that Sihole village on the banks of the river "Tangon" was originally a river post. geographical importance, ancient maps and folklore indicatethat the region was populated and inhabitat by well educated people long before independence.as a result, the importance of this region as a commercial post was immense. It is rumored that this was the main place of Kachhari and overnight stay of Nilkuthi Sahibs. in persuit of education and being the home to many people, with the inspiration , encouragement and financial support of Sihole, Jashodapara,Bonipara,Nanaharpara ,Jamarand other well wishers Sihole High School was established in 1902.
