History

Erstwhile the school was known as Amritakhanda junior high school from 1969 to 1998 . From 1999 to 2002 it was known as Amritakhanda Sri Sri Radha Gobinda High School. From 2003 the school has come to known as" Ristara S.S.R.G. High School". Introduction of Vocational Stream VIII+evel and X+2 level (H.S) since July 2007.

     The School came into being due to the donation and sacrifice of local social workers like late Rabindra Nath Sarkar, late Narayan ch. Sarkar, late Rabindra Mahan Sarkar and many more.
