It was the year of 1933.The residents of Kardaha surroundings Mr Banabihari Acherjee, Mr Sarbang Singh, Mr Umacharan Ghosh , Mr Sukesh Chatterjee, Mr PanchuGopal Ghosh, Mr Amrita Gopal Roy, Mr Sristidhar Pramanik, Mr Manindra Kumar Chakraborty, Mr Haripada Sarkar, Mr Jatindranath Bagchi , Mr Kamalendu Acherjee, Mr Brajendranath Chowdhury , Mr Tahuluddin Sarkar, Mr Gopendranath Ganguly along with a good number of education admirers become enthusiastic to set up a school for making arrangements of bearing for the local children . And in their active participation the school was started with few students at the house of Mr Ramsekhar Siddanta and Mr Dilip Siddanta constituted with clay wall and with straw shade in the kardaha Market Area. Though the school started its journey before Independence in the year 1933,the school got its acknowledgement as Junior High School in the 1954 i.e. after 7 years of Independence. In 1956 Kardaha High School began its noble stepping. In 1966 the school got its up gradation from Junior to Madhyamik . In 2002 around after 36 years the school upgraded to Higher Secondary from Secondary.
