1. The School was got its recognition as a Class X High School w.e.f. 01/01/1941, vide memo no. 7144/pro/1244 dated 28/12/1943 from the University of Calcutta.

2. The School upgraded as a Higher Secondary School (XI-Class) with Humanities w.e.f. 01/04/1958 by  West Bengal Board of Secondary Education vide memo no. 4948/CG dated 26/03/1958.

3. The School upgraded with Science Stream (XI-Class) by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education vide memo no. 5127/g/018-350/H.S. dated 13.03.1963 w.e.f. 01.01.1963

4. The School upgraded as a XII-Class High School by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education vide memo no. GS/Mal/76-77/R/15 dated 12/08/1976 w.e.f. 01/07/1977.

GRANT IN AID: 

The School has come under the Grant-In-Aid Scheme in 1951-1952 vide memo no. 18/33/(III) dated 31/05/1954 by the Board of Secondary Education, West Bengal.
