History

 The new set-up Institution of class V-VIII was provisionally recognised by the WBBSE in the year 2001 . On 29th July, 2002, Gauranga Datta was first appointed through SSC. NR. as A.T. to the Instn. He started his class with few students on 1st August, 2002. The Instn.was then no pucca class room. 

       After four years the Jr.    High School was upgraded as X-class High School by the WBBSE w.e.f. 01/05/2006. The students first appeared in the M.P. 2008. More than 80% students passed in the Exam.

        The Instn.was again upgraded as Higher Secondary (Class XI -XII) by the WBCHSE w.e.f. 01/07/2012. Both the Science & Arts streams are permitted. The students appeared first in the H.S.Exam.2014 . More than 90% students passed in the Exam.

         The Instn. has pucca boundary wall surrounded by green mango gardens. There are four laboratories of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Geography are available for the students.  The Instn. has also one Library & one Multi- Gym Hall. 

         The total  permanent staff strength is 27 . Two Para teachers & one contractual Computer teacher are now attached with the Instn. There are 1025 students reading in the A.Y.2020.

          The Instn. is now a Govt. Sponsored one & running with a valid M.C. Our Instn. plays an important role to develop the quality of education of the locality.
