
BHUNA ADIBASHI HIGH SCHOOL is located in a remote area of Bengal-Bihar boarder line. The institution is completely free from hue and cry of crowded area. The school is affiliated to WBBSE and managed by the department of school education. A few educationist of Sadlichak GP took the initiative to set up a school at Bhuna village in 1973 to raise literacy rate among the tribal people of the area. The school is situated at Bhuna village ( Sadlichak GP ) under Harischandrapur II Block in Malda District.
The school was first recognised as teo class junior high school in 1973 subsequently the institution promoted to four class junior high school in the year 1977. The school has been upgraded to high school in 2009. The school consists of more than 750 students. The school provides all the modern facilities like library, computer class etc. Most of the students of this institution are first generation school goers. The literacy rate among the tribal people are gradually increasing after the school have been upgraded to High School. Each and every teacher of the school is committed to provide the best learning enviornment. The school is improving towards academic sphare and its students have excelled in extra co-curricular activites. During Annual Sports people gather from surrending area to enjoy 'Adibashi Nitya'. The institution tries to impart sense of discipline to make students honorific towards the society.
