History

Mitna Solemania High Madrasah (H.S.) was recognised as a 4 class junior High Madrasah w.e.f. 01/01/1968 vide Board's memo no. 348/5R dated-30/07/1968 by the West Bengal Madrasah Education Board. The Madrsah was upgraded to class- X High Madrasah by the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education vide Board's memo no. 695(i), dated-26/11/1968. The Madrasah has come under the salary deficit scheme w.e.f. 01/05/1972 as per G.O. No. 738(52)SC/g dated- 04/04/1973 and has received first grant- in-aid under memo no. 545/2(1) dated- 28/05/1973. The Madrasah was upgraded to a class XII Higher Secondary Madrasah by the WBCHSE. Presently the Madrasah is running as co-educational institution with Arts stream in Higher Secondary Education with Subjects: Bengali, English, Political Science, Education, History, Geography and Arabic. Total enrolment students are 2211 in academic year 2024-25.
