History

Govt. Model School,  Manikchak was established in 2014 under the direction of School Education Department,  Govt. of West Bengal. At present the institution functions under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE). Initially teaching learning process of the school was conducted through English Medium but due to unavailability of students to pursue in English Medium, the teaching learning process is now conducting through Bengali Medium as per the Government Order since 2018. Hostel facilities are available for boys of this institution.Our aims to provide quality education to build an happy and healthy society.
