
Samsi Agril High School (H.S) started its journey on the 2nd January in 1928. Raja Sharat Chandra Ray Bahadur, the King of Chanchal Raj Estate founded the institution in memory of Kumar Shibapada, his only died son to spread the knowledge of education among the children of this locality. Initially the name of the school was Kumar Shibapada Memorial Minor English School. In 1931 the name of the school was changed as Samsi Jr. Agricultural High School by the Govt. of WB (DPI) vide memo no. 1772 dated 30.12.1954 w.e.f 01.01.1931. Late Krishna Keshab Sarkar was the first Headmaster of the school.Samsi Jr. High School was directly upgraded as Samsi Higher Secondary School (Class XI) in 1960 by WBBSE vide memo no 16084/G dated 10.07.1960 w.e.f 01.01.1960. Late Ganesh Chandra Saha became the second Headmaster of the school in 1960. The school became Samsi Agril High School (Class X) in 1976. Late Shyamalendu Moitra became the TIC of the school in 1996 and Yogendralal Shah took the chair as the TIC of the school in 1998. Shailesh Pande was appointed as the TIC of the school on 01.08.2000. The school was upgraded as Samsi Agril High School(H.S) by WBCHSE in 2002 vide memo no. DS(A)SD/170/Recog/02 dated 09.07.2002 w.e.f 2002 - 2003 session. Shailesh Pande, the then TIC became the Headmaster of the school on 21.05.2007.The school has a land of 269 dcm : Mouja :- Andhirampara, Khatiyan No. - 674, J/L No. - 68, Daag No. - 51,52,53,62,65,66,64/314,65/330.Samsi Agril High School (H.S) is the mother institution of this locality . Samsi college and Sitadevi Balika Vidyamandir (H.S) started their journey from this institution in 1968.There was a mobile B.Ed college at the premises of Samsi Agril High School in 1976 and 1977.The platinum jubilee of Samsi Agril High School was celebrated at the premises of the school from 04.02.2005 to 07.02.2005. Samsi College and Samsi Sitadevi Balika Vidyamandir jointly celebrated their Golden Jubilee along with Samsi Binapani Town Library and Samsi Book Fair at the school premises from 13.02.2018 to 19.02.2018 (Troyee Subarna Jayanti Utsav and Samsi Book Fair 2018).
