History

On 4th january, 1968 KALIGRAM GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL started the journey only with its two classes - classV & class VI. For the scarcity of  school building i.e. classrooms, the 'Teaching-Learning Process' was started at Kaligram High School. From its begining to the year 1999, it played its role as Jr. Girls' High School. after long waiting it was upgraded to Kaligram Girls' High School in the year 2000. The government had finally took awesome decision and declared to start Higher Secondary section in the year 2012, which is landmark of its journey. Though it was a long duration to upgrade this Jr. High School into a Higher Secondary school, it was a feather in the crown of the school. Subjects like HISTORY,GEOGRAPHY,PHILOSOPHY, SOCIOLOGY, ENVS, SANSKRIT, EDUCATION are now taught in H.S section.

Apart from studies , the school has also gained a good reputation in the cultural field. The school has won numerous awards for the efforts of its teachers and students.
