History

The was recognized as  3 class Sr. Basic School by the DPI,West Bengal vide Memo No 5453-SC/P dated 18.12.1958. Consequently the school was converted to 4 class Jr. high School vide Memo No 1764-Edn(S) dated 22.08.1969. The school was upgraded as 10 class High School w.e.f. 01.05.1996 by the WBBSE vide Memo No. S/Recog/96/236 dated 21.08.1996. The school  has been recognized as H.S. School by the WBCHSE vide Memo No.DS(A)SD/157 Recog/04 dated 03.09.2004
