Aiho Girls' High School (HS) is one of the oldest and traditional school of Habibpur block in Malda district. The school is situated by the river of Mahananda in the village of Aiho. This school was established in the year of 1932. Abdul Shovan Shah, a person interested in education, founded this school before the independence of India. He intended to spread education among the women of this area. He worked hard to collect girl students to make them educated and at last he was successful to establish this school. In the year of 2001, Smt. Shipra Basak Bowmick became the headmistress of this school. She has made a lot of improvements of this school. She made much efforts to establish two KGBV hostels under this school. These two hostels help to educate the SC/ ST/ Minority girls of this area. Now Aiho Girls' High School (HS) is one of the renowned Institution of Malda district.
