The name of this school itself indicates the nature of the students studying here and the history behind the erection of this school is also developed on the ground of the necessity of the educational welfare of the people who infiltrated here from the then East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) being the victims of political and social unrest upsurged there and started rehabilitation along the border areas of India. Starting the journey under a corrugated tin base this school has been transferred many times like a nomad successively from the abandoned room of a petrol camp, an old temple compound, mango orchard, area adjacent to mosque to finally the land just contiguous to the present building of Rishipur High school where once upon a time some classes of primary section had to be arranged due to inadequacy of classrooms in this school. Growing with many bright memories it has passed 70 years with many eminent sincere teachers and well established alumni students. Ex head master of this school late Suresh Chandra Singh was conferred by the President of India with the prestigious national award in 1989 for his excellent service towards primary education delivered in this school. Along with such glorious history it has given birth of numerous talented pupils who proved their eligibility becoming reputed teachers, leading doctors, lawyers or social workers and has paved the path of many poor children of refugee families toward the educational access.
