Moyna is a remote village in Gajol block of Malda district. Since there was no post primary level School in the area after independence, this school was established in 1969 under the leadership of Shri Monindra Nath Sarkar, Janab Kashiruddin Sarkar, Shri Yogendranath Mandal, Janab Tofiluddin Sarkar, Shri Nagendranath Sarkar with the help of a number of compassionate people and donation of Land by Khalil Mohammed of this locality. Upto class viii in 1971 and secondary in 1985 were recognised by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. In a short span of time, this school has gained a reputation for its Madhyamik result in Gajol block and still continues to occupy its place . The Higher Secondary (both arts and science stream) was recognised in 1913 and its result are similarly retained like Madhyamik in the same block. At the heart of this remarkable achievement are School discipline,punctuality, parental support ,student will -power, and above all, the contribution of all qualified teachers of this school.
