The school, Akalpur Jr. High School, starts its academic journey in the year of 2010 at the village of Akalpur, P.O. Akalpur, Block-Gazole, Dist. Malda, with three guest teachers on demand of its local villagers. New two teachers are recruited in 2013 through WBSSC. A group-D post is also filled in 2018 in recommendation of WBSSC. At present the school runs with twenty-one students in class V to VIII. The school presently has three class rooms.
