History, the subject describing from past to present, dictates the step wise evolution of an area and its mankind , and shows light to make future path brighter. Like that history of a school is a glorious and inspirable one.
After meeting with respective society members, some old persons and going through some old files, I have become able to collect some datas (some errors may be present) about the school "Molla Primary School".
The village then being educationally backward, some literate persons of the village decided to enlighten future generations in the light of education. Late Bholanath Das donated the land in favour of District School Board of Murshidabad. The school committee, where he was the secretary for life-time, was formed by another nine respected members.
The journey starts on 17 November in 1952 in a four-romed thatched hut with muddy wall.
But in 1956, a devastating flood of the river Mayurakshi smashed away the muddy buildings. Bimal Chandra Sinha, the honorable minister of state, visited and granted a terpoline shed where the school was shifted after it was formed from the temporary place of Durga Mandir of Kaysthapara.
The school owned its two-storied building on its own premises under the activities of Sarva Shiksha Mission.
The first head teacher of school was Late Duksha Bhanjan Das followed by late Shatipada Chowdhury, Sri Ramendra Narayan Mitra and me, Biswajit Mondal.
Many students of school have brightened and are still brightening the name of the school in their individual field. The teachers, from the day of foundation, with the sincere, supportive, co-operative help and ideas of villagers, guardians, school committee and respective higher authorities have been trying to make it an ideal place for an all-encompassed development of child to make them an ideal citizen in future.
