Established in 1925,Sabaldaha,a hamlet in Murshidabad,saw the first emergence of an educational institution in the area that paved the path of literary as well as education.Inspired by the philosophy enshrined in the Advaita Vedanta:"Om asato ma sadgamaya.Tamaso ma jyotirgamaya.",the school has ever been keen on removing the darkness of religious biogotry,prejudice and literacy.Although the school was established in an era when the British Raj was prevalent in India,it boldly protected the rich culture and heritage of the nation.Since its inception many students have glorified the name of the school by securing glorious positions both nationally and internationally as well.To the local peaple the school is an object of pride and a place of emotion.The school buildings house 7 classrooms,a large Community Hall,a room dedicated for Library,a Computer Room,a Kitchen Room,a large Dinning Room,separate Washrooms for boys and girls and a room for running Drinking Water for all.This apart the main building also houses the Staff Room and an Office Room.In the courtyard are two tubewells that cater to the requirments of the students.
