History

First recognition as VIII class Junior High School by WBBSE, vide memo no. 11/Jr. dated 12.01.1970 wef 01.01.1969.

     Upgradation school status upto X class by WBBSE,  vide memo no. 61/G dated 05.01.1971 wef 01.01.1970.

      The school came under complete Salary Deficit Scheme in the year 1972-1973, vide memo no. 983 GA dated 23.03.1973.

       Recognition extended until further order,  vide memo no. 4526/G dated 18.07.1974 beyond  31.12.1973.

       The school was upgraded by WBCHSE into Higher Secondary general stream courses with co-educational wef 2010-2011 academic session, de memo no. DS(A)SD/211/Recog/10 dated 13.08.2010 with reference GO. no. 100-SE (HS)/3S-12/2010 dated 30.07.2010.
