
Alampur Junior High School for Girls' was established on 16 April, 2010 in the village of Alampur under Raipur Gram Panchayat of Nowda Block in Murshidabad District by some local enthusiast people with the great helping hand Alampur Mandir Committee. The committee donated land for the school and building was set up with the help of School Education department by the contemporary guest teachers named Md. Jamaluddin, Sahabuddin Mondal & Usha Mondal. The school was recognised in the year of 2009 by School Education Department through District Inspector of Schools' (Secondary Education), Murshidabad. The School is situated in Alampur, PO- Sabdarnagar, Block+PS - Nowda, PIN - 742175 under Nowda CLRC. Presently the school is run by the Managing Committee(Ad-hoc Committee) comprising of S.I of Schools, Nowda CLRC; Nominee of B. D. O, Nowda; Executive Engineer, Nowda block; Nominee of Sabhadhipati of Nowda Panchayat Samiti, Co-opted Member, T. I. C of the School. Presently there are four classes i.e Five, Six, Seven, Eight in our school.
In 2010, this school was started it's journey with 70 students and 3 Guest Teachers. At that time the school building was constructed with 3 Class-rooms. Now the school has Pucca Mid-day meal kitchen shed. The school boundary with brick wall was structured.There are two toilets for students. Girls can get classes with safety,attention & higene.
