History

Gangaprosad High Madrasah (H.S.) situated in Berhampore Block in the district of Murshidabad,West Bengal.It was established in 1971 by the great land doner of the Madrasah Haji Golam Rahaman Khan. His contributions are milestone of the Madrash. There are also huge contributions of the local well - wisher of the educated muslims in establishing and developing activities of the institution. The current roll strength of the students is nearby 1910.The institution continues its journey to promote the islamic education and culture with modern subjects of Physics, math, Biology, social science, Arabic, Bengali, English, Education, Political science etc. The students participate regularly in the academic, cultural, co curricular co-scholastic, social welfare , various events, activities, occasions and ceremonies. This institute is managed by The DME ,WB WBBME, and WBCHSE . The various sub committees are functioning here as per U-Dise and circulars of the Govt. under the instructions, guidelines and supervision of the Madrash authorities. The sub committee are
