Balutungi High School (H.S) founded by Shamsuddin Sarkar on 02-02-1949. Name of the founder Teachers Md. Firoj Hossain and Nirmal kr. Das. Date of recognisation as M.E School 2 class w.e.from 01-01-1951 .As Jr h. high School w.e from 01-01-1958 and upgraded as High School w.e from 01-01-1965 . As H.S School w.e.from 1995-1996 session and science stream open from 2009-2010 session.
