History

The Institution was originally recognised as a High Madrasah in 1946 by the then Board of Intermediate Secondary Education, Dacca, w.e.f. 01.01.1946 vide Memo No: 6169 dated: 10.07.1946. On the constitution of the Madrasah Education Board in 1949 a fresh recognition was accorded to the Madrasah in 1955 under the Memo No: 368/5R dated: 26.07.1955 w.e.f. 01.04.1955.

The Madrasah was brought under salary deficit scheme w.e.f. 01.04.1965 vide DPI's Memo No: 894/SC/G dated: 15.03.1966.

The Madrasah was upgraded as HS Madrasah under WBCHSE w.e.f. 2002-2003 vide Memo No: DS9A)SD/10/Recog/02 dated: 11.06.2002.
