History

In 2007-2008 first time two class-rooms (NSB) were completed for Ajmatpur Junior High School. Then in 2010 another one class-room was completed. From 14th January, 2011, fifth grade teaching began at Ajmatpur Junior High School. There were 79 students in class V. As per the decision of the Ad-hoc committee the teaching of clss VI,VII,VIII started in 2012, 2013, &  2014 respectively. The school was recognized as a new set up upper primary on 20/05/2010 by the WBBSE. But the class started 0n 14/01/2011. This time The school was maintained by the guest teacher, named Md. Abdul Hamid. He was the only teacher in this institution. And an Ad-hoc Committee was constituted for the school.  There were three members in this Ad-hoc Committee - S.I. of schools Ajoy Kumar Mondal( Member secretary), Block representative Purnima Chakrabarty( President), Md. Abdul Hamid(Teacher-in-charge). Thus the school has grown steadily. On 26/12/2013 first time a permanent teacher, named Aniruddha Khan was joined in this institution through School Service Commission. Now the school is growing smoothly with a regular teacher and a non-teaching staff.
