History

Gouripur Hemzuddin High School or GHHS is a school in West Bengal, India. This is a co-ed school for Secondary & Higher Secondary and Vocational level students. Its medium of instruction is Bengali. Currently, there are more or less 2800 students enrolled at this school, out of them 2750 students belong to secondary & Higher Secondary level and others belong to Vocational stream.

Gouripur Hemazuddin High School was established in 1960. The School recognized as 2 class Junior High school with effect from 1962 and 4 class Junior High school from 1964. After that the schhol recognized as 10 class High school from 26.7.1974. The school came under slary deficit scheme from 1.5.1972. At present Gouripur Hemazuddin High School is recognized by the W.B.S.C Vocational Education & Training from 21.8.2006 and also regosnised as higher Secondary School from 18.04.2012.
