History

The Arjunpur High School was established in 1942 by some reputed persons interested in the field of education.Among them the names of Late Chhedi Bhisan Das and the founder Headmaster Late Ziller Rahman deserve special mention.  It was recognised as a secondary school in 1967 and now it is a large H.S.school where the average enrollment every year tends to be more than 6000.The first batch who passed the school final exam were Tushar Kanti Mondal,Jyotirmay Das, Md Tinkori and Md Islam.Many brilliant students passed from this school and they are now well established in their professions of reputation.
