History

Chachanda B J High School was setup on 1948.Under the super vision of Radhanath Chowdhury,the land lord of nimtita zamindari estate.Pitambar Sarkar,Talim Hazi,Sahid Sardar etc. took the leading position in setting up the school.The school building was mud built on the land of  Hayat Ali & land of zamindari estate.Md Younus was the first approved headmaster of this school.Gopesh Biswas was the Assistant Headmaster. The school was named Chachanda M E school which got govt permission in 1950 for two class V and VI.The school was turned in to four class Juniour High school in 1962.The school became high school in 1969.First Madhyamik batch appeared in 1971.The school got recognition of WBCHSC in 2008.Science stream introduced in 2016.Vocational stream started in 2006.The school purchased the land for playground from Rani Jotirmoyee Devi, pakur,Jharkhand.Here stands the second campus of the school.
