
The school was started as a Govt. Sponsored Girls' Junior High school (4 Class) at Lalbagh, Murshidabad with effect from 1st Jan,1986 in the morning hours of Nawabbahadur Institution against the quoto /reservation for the establishment of Govt. Sponsored School and the school run by the Linguistic minorities group .The establishment of the school was done to cope with the problems of admission of girl students in the locality .Initially the Chairman of Murshidabad Municipality was appointed as the president of the MC by the Govt, and the DI of Schools (SE) ,MSD was asked to act as the Secretary .Other member was the Headmaster of Nawabbahadur Institution .The school education commission had ordered that the school will be soon shifted to the historical "RED BOARDING" or the "LAL KUTHI" which at one time happened to be the hostel of Nawabbahadur Institution .Now the classes run in the “RED BOARDING”, Annexure building and Sarvashikha building in the school premises .The school was upgraded to a High school in the year 1996 with the passing of the first Madhyamik Pariksha batch in 1998.The school received its recognition from the Higher Secondary Council in the year 2008.Since then the school has been running as a "BILINGUAL" Higher secondary school with "URDU" and "BENGALI" as second languages .
