History

The Institution is situated by the Bhagirathi river near Radharghat. UCTC and old district hospital is five numutes walk from the school. Some local enthusiast and educationists felt the urge to establish a school for the area, for the offsprings of Radharghat slum. Education was a far fetched dream to these poor families. In the year 1973 they started a school named, " SEVA MILANI FOUR CLASS JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL. In the year 1978 the school was recognised by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education with the same name. In the year 2005 it was upgraded to a high school and in 2012 this school became a higher secondary school, Now the school imparts both science and arts and the scoial and educational back ground is changed a great deal. The school has laboratories, library and the facelities of computer learning beise vocational training for VIII passed students.
