History

Sian Yusuf High School is the only High School (Higher Secondary) in Sian-Muluk Gram Panchayat, Bolpur-Sriniketan Development Block, Bolpur, Birbhum, West Bengal. It started its journey in 1961 and was upgraded to Secondary School in 1965 and to Higher Secondary School in 2011. In 2018, we have introduced Science Stream and we also indroduced Vocational Courses ( CSS-VSE, NSQF) in 2020 in the HS section.

The School is located at the village of Sian (Sian-Muluk-VI), 5 kms. away from Bolpur, Bolpur-Sriniketan Development Block, Bolpur, Birbhum District, in the State of West-Bengal, India. It is a Co-Educational (Upper Primary + Secondary & Higher Secondary) School. Medium of Instruction of our school is Bengali. Courses Offered here are Arts and Science in Higher Secondary Section.

The school is managed by the Department of School Education, West-Bengal, and it has classes from Standard V to Standard- XII (Upper Primary + Secondary & Higher Secondary).
