History

    Saradish Roy Smriti Vidyaniketan(H.S) was established in 1996 under the authorities of W.B.B.S.E. and was managed by an Ad-hoc committee of which Apurba Bhattacharjee, the Prodhan of Dharampur Gram Panchyet, was the Sceretary and Late Saukat  Ali, the sabhapati of Illambazar Panchayet Samiti was the President. it ran for 3 years in Gopinathpur Pry. School. Then it was removed to the present premises.

   Mr. Chandicharan Mishra, Ram Gopal Mukherjee, Sanjay Bandopadhyay, Khayrul Anam, were appointed as Assistant Techers during the priod of June to September of 1997 and Gour Chandra Majhi was appointed as the Hadmaster on 3rd Decmeber, 1997. The then education interested persons Mr. Nuramin, Ayub Mondal, Fariad Mondal and Benzir Rahaman had a special Role for the development of the school.

  The school was first recognised as a 4th class high school and later on subsequently upgraded to X class. In the year 2017 the school got its recognition as H.S school. At first the school had a total of 48 students. As there were no high school withen 7/8 K.M form local high school the students of this  locality suffered much to achieve edcucation. Most of the girl student were bound to give up their studies after the completion of primary education but now this obstruction has been removed. The  school is surrounded by a number of villages such as Gopinathpur, Delora, Sirsa, Sehelai on the north, Akona,Dharampur, and Sunut on the west, Nripatigram, Paikuni, Tulamra,Khayerbuni on east and Kantagore, Natungram and Sankargachha on the South.

  The results of M.P and H.S are verymuch satisfactory. The people  of the locality cooperate with the school authority in every possible way. Students are disciplined and obedient.
