History

Chhotochak is a socio-economically backward village under joydev-kenduly gram panchayet in lllambazar development block, Birbhum. Chhotochak jr high school was established as a bengali medium, co-ed , new setup school in 2009 with teaching grades, class-5 to class-8 under WBBSE. 

At first the school started in a building of chhotochak B. P pry. School with 20 students by janab Akbar Ali, first guest teacher of this school.lt shifted to the new school building in August-2013. Mr jafarul lslam, swastha karmadhakhsya, Birbhum zilla parishad , inaugrated the new school building. 

Since the establishment in 2009 the school has been involved in social activities and fulfilling the requirements of students.
