
A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
Far from the madding crowd, amid the calm and quiet atmosphere of nature is situated our school Jubutia Japeswar Vidyamandir. By his utmost initiation and benevolence Late Umapati Mitra established this school in 1958. In 1959, the District Inspector of Schools(S.E.) Birbhum, granted temporary permission for opening Class-V and VI, vide memo no. 1631(4)/G, dated-18/08/1959. In 1962, the W.B.B.S.E. in its memo no. 184/8/G, dated 21/11/1962, upgraded the School upto Class-VIII.
In 1968, the W.B.B.S.E. in its memo no. 2940/G/1-5, dated 01/03/1968, granted provisional recognition for two years w.e.f. 1st January 1967, with a permission to present candidates at the School Final Examination in 1968 and 1969.
From that day onwards the school is continuously providing quality education, as well as value education, in such an area where 80% of the total population belong to Scheduled Caste.
For the constant demand of the locality and the initiation of the H.M and the teaching and non-teaching staff, and the Managing Committee of this school, the school has been upgraded from X class school to XII class Vide memo No. – DS(Aca)SD/02/0219/RECOG/2013 Dt – 05/07/2013. Since then, the no. of students is increasing day by day and the result of M.P and H.S is becoming more and more praiseworthy.
Now the school has acquired a prominent place in the whole Nanoor Block of Birbhum district.
